The Bubble Chair is a limited edition run of bespoke lounge chairs, crafted entirely in the USA and upholstered in Chicago. This particular chair was crafted for Milan Design Week and exposed in Alcova. The leather sling is of a waxed cowhide sourced from Chicago where it was also hand stitched together while the legs have been lacquered in a deep brown color.

The Bubble Chair, the star of your living room. This piece doesn’t necessarily blend in, which is what we love about it. The Bubble Lounge Chair invites a person to interact with it, employing overflowing and shapely upholstery and woodwork. An exploration of softness and play for a rather formal object. The scale of this chair provides true comfort, not wishing to be stuck and squeezed into a space. This chair asks you to make room, settle in, and slow down. Influenced by traditional woodworking craftsmanship, the bubbly legs are turned on the lathe and joined by large mortise and tenons. The sling seat is handcrafted with either leather or cushioned upholstery, whatever suits your space or style. The hardwood maple is treated with a finish that enhances the natural beauty of the grain. Each chair is stamped with its edition: 1-12. Entirely made in the U.S.A like the good stuff used to be. 

The lacquered finish to this chair has been applied with the highest quality products and methods. Shiny surfaces can require extra care and attention to maintain and preserve.
